About the Program, Cost, Certificates, Continuing Education, Student Status, International Participants

Some participants use the Summer Study program as a study retreat, making use of the Divinity School library and quiet reflection on the quad. Courses can count towards continuing education requirements for some clergy. Participants receive a Yale Certificate of Completion (in print or via email) at the end of the course week. Courses do not otherwise provide academic credit.

The Summer Study program has no overall cost except for a nominal transaction fee for registration. All other costs are directly associated with the courses or special events chosen by the participant. Payment is accepted online by credit card or by check.

International participants must pay via credit card online to secure registration. Personal checks or money orders are not accepted from international participants.

Participation in Summer Study does not count toward student status. As such, international participants will not be provided with F1 visas, also known as student visas.
